Welcome to Lethbridge Christian School!
We are excited to have you attend Lethbridge Christian School. It is our prayer that you will grow as a family (parents and children) as we are able to serve you here at LCS. Our staff is ready to support you as your children are nurtured and encouraged to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ.
Lethbridge Christian School is an alternative school within the Lethbridge Public system and meets all of the Alberta Education requirements for a public school. In addition to meeting these mandates we aim to provide a Christ centered education and challenge our students to strive for lifelong excellence in all they do. Every attempt will be made to provide students with an education that meets the highest standards and ensures that they are equipped with the necessary skills to continue moving forward in life.
We desire that as you enter this building, you will quickly see that we are a family of believers who work together to demonstrate the love of Christ. To this end, we will do all that we can with our educational knowledge to understand your children, your family, and the Word of God, so that we can bring you the best education with godliness evident throughout.
As parents, you are a vital part of our team. We need you to be involved in your child’s academic growth. You can do this by getting to know us better, participating in parent council, volunteering in your child’s class, attending school functions, and partaking in Chapel services. By reading to your child each day and engaging them with their studies, you will make the most of their time here at LCS. Most importantly, seek a relationship with Jesus Christ and be part of a Bible-teaching Church. If you need more ideas of how to support your child’s education, just talk with us. We would love to help you.
To LCS students, we encourage you to plant yourselves here, to grow and be nurtured by the Holy Spirit just as Christ did and to engage with our staff. We need you as much as you need us. You have opportunities to strengthen the gifts that God has given you and to develop into a strong believer who is also a dynamic global servant, bringing positive change and solutions to our world. As we have said before, whether you are with us for a brief period or long, we want you to leave LCS prepared to take on bigger challenges with confidence in God, knowing that you are equipped for the task.
