Elementary - Grade 5 Teacher
I am so excited to continue in my role as the grade 5 teacher here at LCS! Grade 5 is such a fun age in which students start to gain some independence and really start to mature. I love teaching at this school and enjoy being a part of this school community. It is great to work with students as they learn and grow both academically and in their faith. One of my greatest joys in teaching is developing relationships with students!
When I am not teaching, I enjoy doing various outdoor activities such as trail running, biking, and hiking. I also greatly enjoy trying different types of coffee and discovering new music to listen to. I am also a big Toronto Raptors fan (and a fan of the NBA in general).
A favourite passage of scripture, that always brings me encouragement is Romans 8:37-39: No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
