I am so grateful to be part of an amazing team at LCS. I keep a sign on desk that says “Choose Joy”, which reminds me daily that no matter what is happening, there is JOY in each day, even when circumstances are difficult.
When not at work, I am spending time with my husband, our 12 year old son, and our new puppy. In the winter, you will likely find me trying to keep warm at the hockey rink and assuming the “Hockey Mom” role. Our family enjoys any activity that takes us to the mountains; skiing/snowboarding, camping, and mountain biking. The mountains bring me so much peace and happiness. I also love baking, drinking coffee, reading, paddleboarding and listening to all sorts of music!
One of my favorite Bible passages is Psalm 121, “I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth”. This passage is so reassuring to me as it reminds me that I am taken care of by a mighty and powerful God, who will protect me and is with me always.
It is my privilege to be a small part in your child's journey and I cherish all the stories and hugs they share with me. I look forward to getting to know your family!
