National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 30, 2021 marks the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. There will be no school on Thursday, Sept. 30. This federal holiday honors the painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools as part of the reconciliation process National Day for Truth and Reconciliation - Canada.ca

On October 1, our learning community will be wearing orange shirts to honor children who survived in Canada's residential schools and those who did not. We encourage all of our staff and students to remember the diverse history of Canada and the importance of reconciliation.
